Terlingua Ranch Lodge

Terlingua Ranch Lodge

8/10 Good
"I would have rated everything excellent because it was great. The reason I cannot is because there was a power outage that lasted from early afternoon until around 3am in the morning. I know they could not have avoided the outage but there was no communication about the outage. Because there is no cell service you could not call the office so I went to the office but they were already closed even though it showed they were open until 7pm."

"The first night in the area, we had a reservation somewhere else and it just didn't work for us. We messaged Sis and she was able to get us into a room. The first room was bigger but the second, smaller one was just as nice. Air conditioning in the August heat was wonderful and ceiling fans really made a difference. We slept very well! Enjoyed watching the changing sky from sunset to star filled. I would definitely stay here again."

"If you want to see the night sky, this is the perfect place to stay! You can enjoy sitting on the patio to look at the stars. We also enjoyed watching a deer and bird eat from the buckets that were set out for the animals. The dirt road to get up the driveway was a little tricky for our minivan. We really enjoyed our trip to Big Bend and the barndominium worked out well for our family."
